Notice:  The Deptartment of Agriculture sent notification that the Mahanoy City Public Library has been approved to make a formal application for a loan of $45,000 to get electrical improvements and a security system for the second floor of the library. A motion by Shimkus, seconded by Evans, both of the Library Board, was made to apply for the loan. The motion was passed unanimously. This posting on our web site is advertising that we have made an application for a loan and/or grant. Certification of this Resolution by the Members of the Library Board will be signed by the Secretary and submitted with the application.
