The Schuylkill Intermediate Unit offers one of the most extensive ranges of
alternative options in Pennsylvania. The Intermediate Unit, together
with the twelve member school districts and Schuylkill County social service
agencies, have partnered to provide programs that help the young people we
serve. These programs are approved by the Pennsylvania Department of
Education and the Department of Public Welfare. Our goal has always
been to help these students deal with the challenges in their lives and make
education a successful experience. We will continue to improve the
programs to meet the needs of the students in Schuylkill County.
